Since I felt this brief would be aimed at semi-professional, or very enthusiastic bikers I wanted to theme the designs around something more sleek and professional so that it reflected the audience it would attract. I Played around a lot with colour and gradients to cover the page, initially just going for highlights of the page with the handle bars and the buttons being the main striking bits of colour for the page but felt it didn't provide the right aesthetic for the site, so moved onto more overall colour themes. The blue themed design works better overall since it isn't as overstimulating on the eye and is still visually pleasing so I stuck with this design over the former.
